We are here to tell you, Valentine’s day is so much better with your pet(s).
Below we will tell you exactly how you can enjoy the holiday, and why Valentine’s Day is so much better with your dog
Things to do:
- Go for a hike! Here in the Pacific Northwest the winter has been quite milder this year, so take advantage and go for a hike with your pup. Both of you could use some endorphins and exercise, so why not enjoy the fresh air and nature while you’re at it?
- Netflix and Cuddle! Turn on the sappiest movie you want (let’s face it, Spike doesn’t care) and cuddle up with your pup for the night. Not only will they enjoy the snuggles, you guys get great quality time. And no quarrels about what movie to watch!
- Take you pup in to get groomed! Something nice you could do for your pet is get them shampooed at a lovely pet resort! Who doesn’t love to go to the spa? For more information about grooming click here.
Why Valentine’s Day with your dog is better
- Okay, let’s be honest with each other here, your dog has no idea it’s Valentine’s Day. And they don’t really care either! There is no pressure from your pet to do anything for the holiday if you don’t want to, and that just makes life so much easier sometimes.
- Your dog won’t start an argument with you that could potentially ruin the whole holiday! All your dog will want to do with you is play and cuddle!
- After Valentine’s Day, everything will be the same. Spending the holiday with your dog will be just like every other day for both you and them, and there won’t be any changes to your life when it’s over.
If you are planning on going somewhere with your significant other (without your pet) be sure to get your pet properly boarded! For more info click here.
